The story of why I worship God

I find it fascinating that whenever this topic gets brought up in the middle of conversation. It always a way to stir each other up. Can be a good way, can be a bad way, it depends on who's asking the question, and the intention behind it. Thus, my answer sometimes ranged from, "why you suddenly ask me this, is that relavant?" in a defensive tone. All the way up to sharing the truth behind the story. PT1: WHERE'S MY COOKIE? I grew up in a Catholic primary and secondary school. Each year, there was half a day dedicated to mass. It usually takes place right before the final exams where the father/priest conducts a Mass. Mass consisted of priests facilitating the students on how we should behave during the event, santification of the tabernacle, singing of hymns and worship songs, performances in a form of chior and/or piano player. Usually, classmates around me would fall asleep the entire session. BUT NOT ME. OK la, I still fell asleep for most of the segment. But what...

Towards Q4 Y23

This is me, back here back again updating my life. Writing about myself, to figure it all out. Why am I writing? For clarity of what I want. I publicize what I share, hide the rest I don't. I write, to realign my focus and walk towards a better path.  As of now, I try my best to thank God, and the social circle of closest friends that I have. I'm grateful for each morning, as it is a chance for new memories and adventures. I look for opportunities from time to time to do work and life better.  In the past, it was about money. Money money money, profits losses ROI. It took me like 2 full years to figure out that money is not everything. BUT WITHOUT MONEY, YOU CAN'T DO ALMOST ANYTHING. Money become less important when you have enough for yourself, and for the people around you. That said, I'm happy financially where am. Enough to be confident about life goals. Life goals like growing and building people up around my social circle. Starting a family, having a kid, retiring...

2023: In the name of productivity and self-growth

I am recording some key decisions that I have made this year that has drastically shaped me and continue my journey towards self-growth and productivity: I got Stoic Philosophy to guide me  I believe that people in Greece at one point in time were better at using their minds, the Ancient Greece were really a thriving culture. Which means more people had the ability work on their minds instead of living in an overworked and underpaid society that we are living in today. I truly believe that Stoicism is very applicable at this day and age, especially when my mind gets drifted into a bad place, and at times not be aware of it because we live in an age alongside the internet. However, thanks to the internet, I found stoicism to be a very practical way to define and rebuild my principles. I'm using stoic philosophy to reason my way to get out of my bad habits and do away with bad thought patterns. Living life with virtues, courage and temperance feels like a good change for me. Aft...

MLBB: Mythical Glory

As a player of Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, I have been on a journey to reach the highest rank in the game for a long time. Finally, after countless hours of gameplay, strategic planning, build optimization and teamwork, I have achieved my goal: Mythical Glory. The journey to Mythical Glory is not an easy one. It requires dedication, perseverance, and a lot of hard work. This season, I picked up Atlas, Estes, and Jawhead to expand my small hero pool. I also reviewed the replays of my games to strengthen my ability to turn a losing game around. Reaching Mythical Glory is a testament to my skills as a player. It means that I have successfully climbed up the ladder, beating some of the best players in the game. It is not just a rank but a badge of honor that shows my dedication and commitment in the game, and in life.  As I went higher up the ranks, I almost gave up because the road ahead was tough as nails. However I overcame the feeling of frustration and helplessness, by accepting th...
